When you order a structure from craftsmen in the UK, you are more likely to be able to investigate the production processes used. WoodMines customers have the opportunity to see (in person or on social media) the workshop in which their structure is being created. Emails and telephone calls are frequently answered by those involved in the manufacturing process. Come and visit our workshop and display area at Unit 2b Cricket St Business Park, Wigan, WN6 7TP.
WoodMines Post Preparation
The posts are 150mm thick as standard and are notched at the top, planed and sanded smooth with feature routed edges. We can cut the posts to a specified height for you leaving the pressure treated end untouched at the base. The posts are made from homegrown whitewood timber. Upgraded 200mm thicker posts can be purchased. They are not strips of timber glued together (laminated). Once we have finished working on the posts they are fully treated with an additional clear oil based wood preservative which is also available to purchase with your structure
